Shantrice graduated from William Fleming High School in 2007. She continued her career attending the Medical Careers Institute in Richmond, VA, obtaining an Associates of Applied Science with a concentration in Medical Assisting.
After graduating, she worked for an endocrinologist in Richmond for two years. She realized she wanted to return home to Roanoke where she worked for a family practice group. Realizing her interests lay elsewhere, she joined Virginia Interventional Pain and Spine Center in February 2013. Since joining the VIP team, she has gained special interests in the utilization of X-ray guidance for interventional procedures as well as the general principles of office management. She is planning on returning to school in January for Healthcare Management. She is currently certified in CPR/basic life support.
Shantrice enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family.
